Joseph Queen, 29 of Rock Falls, was arrested by Sterling Police at a traffic stop on 1st Avenue Friday. Queen was charged with suspended registration, possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, operation of uninsured vehicle, unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful delivery of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance. Queen was transported to The Whiteside County Jail.
On Saturday, June 18th, Queen appeared before a judge with the complaints being outlined.
720 ILCS 550/ 4 (d) UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
In violation of SECTION 4(d) of ACT 550 of CHAPTER 720 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, on (6/17/22), in the State of Illinois and the County of , defendant, (Joseph D Queen), knowingly had in his possession more than 100 grams, but not more than 500 grams, of a substance containing cannabis.
720 ILCS 550/ 5(d) UNLAWFUL DELIVERY OF CANNABIS
In violation of SECTION 5(d) of ACT 550 of CHAPTER 720 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, on (6/17/22), in the State of Illinois and the County of Whiteside, defendant, (Joseph D Queen), knowingly possessed more than 30 grams, but not more than 500 grams, of a substance containing cannabis with the intent to deliver .
720 ILCS 570/ 402(a)(2)(A) UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
In violation of SECTION 402(a)(2)(A) ACT 570 of CHAPTER 720 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, on (6/17/22), in the State of Illinois and the County of Whiteside, defendant, (Joseph D Queen), knowingly had in his possession more than 1 gram, but less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine, a controlled substance.
Charges listed are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
