Michael D. Martin, 47, of Davis Junction, was stopped for speeding and expired registration on Tuesday, July 12th, at 11:16 a.m., on Interstate 39 northbound at milepost 87 in Lee County and was charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver (121 grams), possession of a controlled substance (ketamine and methamphetamine), driving while license revoked, speeding, and expired registration.
A passenger in the vehicle, Anne M. Campbell, 47, of Davis Junction was also charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver and possession of methamphetamine. Another passenger, Casandra R. Raisbeck, 43, of Freeport, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
All subjects were transported to the Lee County Jail. The Illinois State Police (ISP) were assisted by the Ogle and Lee County Sheriff’s Offices.
The public is reminded that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
