Lee County has moved into the medium COVID community level category. For this reason, LCHD is recommending the following for individuals who are vulnerable to severe illness from COVID:
Get vaccinated or boosted, if you have not
Wear a mask in public; consider avoiding crowded indoor areas
If you test positive, don’t delay in contacting your provider to inquire about therapeutics
The CDC says 23 of the state’s 102 counties now have medium community level spread for COVID-19.
