Illinois State Police District 1 has announced enforcement figures and activity for June.
Illinois State Police District 1 Troopers issued 335 citations, 373 written warnings, and made 11 criminal arrests during the month of June. Speeding accounted for 130 citations. There were 20 arrests for no valid driver’s license or driving while license suspended/revoked.
Troopers investigated 24 traffic crashes, assisted 125 motorists, and conducted 82 commercial motor vehicle inspections, 14 of which were placed out-of-service for safety reasons. There were 3 arrests for driving under the influence.
District 1, which encompasses Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside counties, investigated no fatal traffic crashes in June.
