After a two-year hiatus, the ROY G BIV Color Fun Run returns to Woodlawn Arts Academy on Saturday, Aug. 6. The run is a fundraiser for the Academy, a non-profit educational organization. Each participant will start as a blank canvas, and be splashed with a non-toxic, biodegradable powdered color throughout the course. By the end of the run, they will be walking pieces of art!
The course is a one-mile loop on the back lawn at Woodlawn Arts Academy. All ages walk or run together, beginning at 6pm. Participants may choose to run the loop as few or as many times as they’d like. Three loops plus the finishing chute equal a 5k.
Registration remains available online at getmeregistered.com/roygbivfunrun until 11:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5. Registration will be available in person (cash or check only) in the red barn on the Woodlawn campus from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6. Costs for participants are as follows:
$30 for adults
$20 for age 12 and under
