The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce’s (SVACC) Professional Women’s Network (PWN) committee announced their fall Lunch and Learn, Crucial Conversations, presented by Shane Brown, Vice President for Physician Services and Clinic Operations at CGH Medical Center and Certified Instructor through Crucial Learning, will be held on Wednesday, September 21st, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at Champs Banquet Venue, 9 E. 3rd Street, Sterling, IL. Preregistration is required by Friday, September 16th.
“We are excited to host this training to help improve your communication skills, especially when stakes are high,” said Professional Women’s Network co-chairs, Nicole Bollman (CGH Medical Center) and Charlotte Dunne (Illinois American Water). “Please join us and bring your coworkers, any groups you volunteer with, or sign up to invest in yourself.”
This training will provide you with valuable communication skills for those tough conversations where the stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong. Join us for a 45-minute overview to help you get the results when faced with difficult conversations.
As a Certified Instructor through Crucial Learning, a learning company with courses in communication, performance and leadership, Shane will provide insightful tips and strategies to help give you confidence to work through those tough conversations – the ones you are not holding or not holding well.
The cost for the event is $15 for SVACC chamber members, $20 for non-chamber members. This includes the training, lunch (provided by Arthurs Garden Deli), and networking with Sauk Valley Area businesswomen.
Registration is needed by September 16, 2022. Register online at www.saukvalleyareachamber.com/events or call the Sauk Valley Area Chamber at 815-625-2400.
