Morrison American Legion Post 328 and several volunteers (ages from 15 to 92) planted over 1,000 flags on veterans graves on Saturday the 21st of May at Grove Hill Cemetery. The flags will stay up until the 4th of June.
Additionally, Mrs Donna Geerts and her family continue the tradition set forth by Al Geerts and other Legionnaires of planting about 200 flags in over a dozen rural cemeteries.
Many miles are accumulated and some for just a couple of veterans’ graves. https://www.morrisonamericanlegion.org/
