Esper says he didn’t quit despite Trump concerns so he could ‘prevent bad things’ from happening to country

Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper said he felt obligated to remain a Trump cabinet member in order to “push back against the bad ideas” coming from the administration despite having concerns with the president.
