Although some of the provisions in this manual are the same or similar to the company’s prior Employee Manual of Policies and Procedures, the Regional Media Employee Policies and Procedures Web Portal is different. Some policies have been improved or clarified, while others have been added or eliminated in order to address our ever-changing work environment. Therefore, the current and active policy in the portal revokes and supersedes any prior policies, handbooks, manuals or similar documents that the company may have used from time to time in the past. Although we have attempted to cover matters of general applicability to all employees, the material in this manual is not exhaustive, and we know that it does not cover every situation which may arise on a day to day basis. Because of this, the Company reserves the right to make changes at any time, with or without notice, and to interpret these policies and procedures at its discretion. This manual is intended only to provide you with basic information about the guidelines and general policies of Regional Media. It is not intended to create, nor does it create, a contract between the Regional Media or its designee and any employee. With the introduction to radio with llinois radio stations, WKEI, WJRE, and WYEC in 2008, broadcast industry pioneer and Regional Media President and CEO, Fletcher M. Ford founded Regional Media and began building the foundation of what more than a decade later has become the one of the largest local broadcast Radio and media company in the United States. Since its inception, Regional Media has remained at the forefront of industry innovation by implementing new standards and technologies that leverage its award-winning local programming and content into complementary revenue streams. The company has expanded its ownership with longtime Regional Media Chief Operating Officer Darren Brown and longtime broadcast pioneer Robert Maschio joining the executive board as members of the ownership group. Robert Maschio is the companies Chief Revenue Officer and Darren Brown is the our Chief Operating Officer.  Regional Media has took historic stepts on the broadcast industry including being the first AM station with an FM translator in Illinois, one of the state first HD stations, and many innovations and advancements n each market we serve today. Regional Media completed several station acquisition transactions over the years, strategically assembling highly effective local broadcast and digital teams and a platform that delivers exceptional local content to inform and entertain listeners, while providing premium local advertising opportunities at scale for advertisers.  Today, with one of the industries leading digital companies, and as one of the most trusted voices in America, Regional Media remains true to its mission.
