Jane Shaw is excited to serve her local communities and youth as the Carroll County 4-H Program Coordinator. Jane grew up and currently resides in Mt. Carroll. Her career began with Illinois Extension in 2013 as extra help. In 2016, Jane became the Office Support Assistant for Carroll County, and in 2021 she moved to the Sterling office as office support for Carroll, Lee and Whiteside Counties. She is happy to be back in Carroll County.
Her passion for 4-H was sparked when her three children were involved in the Carroll County Kids 4-H Club and Ogle County Horse Drill team. Her children have since aged out of the program, but her passion for 4-H has strengthened. Her goal as 4-H program coordinator is to expand the reach and growth of 4-H so more families can see and experience all the possibilities 4-H has to offer.
Jane can be reached at University of Illinois Extension by calling 815-244-9444. More information about Extension programs and resources can be found on the web at go.illinois.edu/clw.
