AJR has premiered a new single called “The DJ Is Crying for Help.”
The track tackles the very AJR topic of anxiety about growing up with lyrics such as, “I got no skills except getting high” and “You’ve wasted your life but thanks for applying.”
“This song truly means a lot to us,” the brother trio says. “Hope it means something to you.”

“The DJ Is Crying for Help” follows AJR’s 2021 album, OK ORCHESTRA, which features the singles “Bang!” and “Way Less Sad.” The band also dropped a one-off single called “I Won’t” in July.
