Fletcher M. Ford

Fletcher is a native of the Midwestern area, born in Peoria, Illinois and growing up most of his life in the Quad Cities. Fletcher’s first entry into mainstream small business came through the startup of his first business some years ago.
Fletcher now owns and operates the Regional Media – Virden Broadcasting operation in Kewanee, Illinois and the Quad Cites. Under his leadership, the company has seen record sales and profits year over year, grown outside of its boundaries by adding stations to it’s portfolio, large scale concerts, as the company has become a major leader in the Media landscape.
Fletcher serves his local communities in many ways as a board member for the Kewanee Economic Development Corporation, a Kewanee Alcohol and Tobacco, Drug Task Force Chairman, an active Rotarian, a member of Kiwanis International, a Junior Achievement Volunteer and Mentor, and a member of the OSF St. Mary Hospital Business Development Council. Fletcher also spearheads many community‐based programs to promote local spending. Additionally, Fletcher supports many local charities such as the Children’s Therapy Center, United Way, and anything community based. Fletcher also mentors a Christian boys group on a weekly basis, and spends time at a camp mission in Ticuman Morales Mexico known as ElMonte.
Fletcher is a member of the International Broadcasters Idea Bank, an organization reserved for only 100 top broadcasters in the world. Fletcher is also a member of the Illinois Broadcasters Association, the Radio Advertising Bureau, and many other organizations, holds certifications as a Certified Member from the Advertising Bureau, as well as a Certified Digital Media Consultant. He has won numerous National Sales Awards, and has spent countless hours planning small business marketing campaigns to aid in the success of local community business. Fletcher also has been certified through the City of Davenport Police Crime Prevention with relation to his property business.
